State forests near the campsite

The Carnoët state forest, steeped in history, is a remarkable natural site set in the meandering laïta river. You’ll be able to enjoy beautiful views of the river. It is home to the ruins of the Château de Carnoët and the ancient Abbey of Saint-Maurice. Different levels of orientation are available.

The state forest of Coat Loc’h, in Scaër at the foot of the Black Mountains. Former bastion of the clog-makers and stone-cutters. You’ll discover a reconstructed clogmaker’s hut, as well as numerous beech trees and granite quarries. You can also take part in various levels of orienteering courses.
